Chuck Gordon always delivers excellent music every year; appreciation for his excellence is not always a priority for Soca music fans. His songs in the Calypso realm are also on point and delivered with the same excellence. Today we present his offering for Carnival 2024. The song is entitled "D'Panyard where he takes us on a musical journey as it relates to events at the Panyard. This one is a little different, presented with a musical twist that they call "Soca/Jiggy Calypso". We think you will love this musical offering. Enjoy.

You know Carnival is around the corner when you start hearing the sweet strains of stick-on steel at the Panyard. The masses follow the drums to the yards to support their favorite sides, or just engage in our most treasured pastime, Liming. There's something about the rootsy, organic 'pong-piting-pong' that can't be denied.

The Panyard is an economic zone, an education plant, and a breeding ground for community and culture. It is a safe space and an institution. In 2024 and beyond when that pied pan piper calls, it will be hard not to come for d pong at D’Panyard.

The Titivay riddim is a new soca riddim that was released in 2023 by producer Xplicit Mevon. It is a high-energy, uptempo riddim with a catchy melody and infectious rhythm. Patrice Roberts and Farmer Nappy will garner early attention but don't sleep on the songs by Sekon Sta and Rome!

This riddim will quickly become popular on radio and a favorite of many radio DJs. This, we expect to start overseas first before being picked up by the local radio stations in Trinidad and Tobago. This is a sad state of affairs but a fact that the locals take longer to identify and promote the songs that would become carnival hits.
  • Meet We Down Dey by Patrice Roberts
  • HYMC by Sekon Sta
  • Livin' Meh Life by Farmer Nappy
  • Rum, Gyal & Money by Rome
The Titivay riddim is sure to be one of the most popular Soca riddims of 2024, and it is sure to get people dancing all over the world. It is a great example of the diversity and innovation of Soca music. It is a fresh new sound that is sure to appeal to fans of all genres of music.
