We really needed to get to this place; we owe you some sweet Soca music, and today we deliver on our promise. Kerwin Du Bois, a talented vibe master, has released his new song, "You Owe Me." This music release has the potential to become a carnival hit—a surefire banger! Kerwin and Azaryah co-wrote the song, while Jonny Blaze & Stadic, two talented Soca music producers, produced it.

Kerwin brings his signature touch to this music production. The music has a vibe, and Kerwin's signature singing style delivers the right feel and the message needed for this upcoming Carnival celebration. "Hey baby, you owe me a wine (whine)!" is a common refrain in many party venues across Trinidad and Tobago. Both Kerwin and Azaryah possess a deep understanding of what resonates with Trinidadians' approach to carnivals and festivities. The lyrics reflect our identity as a people, adding their unique touch to the carnival experiences we have each year.

What can go wrong with this music release? Nothing can go wrong unless the radio stations blindly play the songs they like on any given day. The voice of the people should determine which songs rise to the top. We believe that this song has all the markers to become a banger for Carnival 2025. The vibe is right, the rhythm digs into your cultural soul, and we expect that everyone will be whining to "You Owe Me."

We, at Sokah2Soca, celebrate this new music release with this production team. Well done, Kerwin, and we invite you to tune in to Island Vybe Philly Radio to hear this song and all the new music releases. So what are you waiting on? Press play, turn up the volume, and tell your 'besty,' "You owe me" (ah, Carnival wine)!

Trinidadians have a fondness for teasing, a tradition that dates back to the early days of Calypso music. During those days, Calypso, the voice of the people, loved to use the technique of double entendre to stimulate the psyche of the populace. Since Soca music supplanted Calypso, it has sparingly employed the art of double entendre. Today, however, a Soca Parang release reaches new heights, tantalizing us with a dose of double-entendre as we anticipate this Christmas season. This release is a teaser, and whether it's Calypso, Soca, or Soca Parang, the artist always manages to captivate us with their inventive lyrics. In this post, we present a new music release that falls under the Soca Parange category. The song "Cat for Christmas" revolves around a cat for sale.

Do not be a prude and frown because your impure mind has led you to a different location. Do you recall Sparrow's "Sell the Pussy"? It's a calypso that you'll hear repeatedly, and no one will complain about it. Give this Soca Parang song a hearing and share it with your peers for comment. I am thankful to Island Vybe DJ Black Widow Sounds for bringing this song to my attention. We have to promote our culture and talented artists. After all, isn't that what we are here to do?

Now clear your thoughts and press play, listen, and then share your comments with us at Sokah2Soca. We eagerly await your responses and whether or not you are in the market for J Angel's marketing push to earn some cash for Christmas. Puss for sale, people!

YouTube Music Release Notes/S2S:
Hi everyone, It’s a pleasure to write and sing my very first Soca Parang for you all, “CAT FOR CHRISTMAS,” a parang song with a twist! As you all know, I love writing music using a lot of double entendre; this is a fun song for my Caribbean people for the Christmas season. Both young and old can enjoy listening to this one with its comedic flow and especially my teasingly creative and entertaining penmanship. "My puss produced 27 kittens, and that is what everyone is receiving this Christmas from Trini Catwoman J. Angel, a cat for Christmas." Please understand that I need money to pay my bills this season.

We delved into the archives to unearth this gem for your enjoyment. This collection of songs will make you homesick as it brings out the spirit of Trinidad's Christmas celebrations. DJ Tony Tempo created this feature mixtape for Sokah2Soca as part of the 2018 series, Friday Jumpstart Mixes: Parang Soca Edition. Tony Tempo skillfully crafted a delightful mixtape that celebrates our unique Parang Soca music, perfectly fitting for this season of merriment.

Parang Soca is "We Ting," as we love to say in Trinidad and Tobago. The people had grown weary of the clichés of 'dreaming of a white Christmas', 'Jingle Bells', and other traditional North American Christmas carols. Parang Soca was created to replace all that cold Christmas music; after all, we don't experience winter, and the warmth of the weather washes over the country for the entire Christmas season.

This Jumpstart mixtape features songs you may not be familiar with but are wholesome and capture the true spirit of the people during this time of the year. From infectious rhythms to heartwarming melodies, this mixtape has it all. It's the perfect soundtrack for holiday gatherings, whether you're hosting a party or simply enjoying a cozy evening with family.

We express our gratitude to DJ Tony Tempo for his collaboration with Sokah2Soca. The archives don't lie; the music is sweet, and DJ Tony Tempo's DJ skills shine brightly in 2024. We, at Sokah2Soca, are proud to present this mixtape and invite you to join us in embracing the joyous spirit of Parang Soca. Happy holidays, and enjoy the music!

Are you ready for the fête season in 2025? Well, you better be prepared, and if not, then we advise that you listen to Ravi B's new music release. The song, titled "Livin' Up," evokes the spirit of Carnival and beckons the reveler to enjoy the moment and just have fun. Kasey Phillips of Precision Productions expertly mixed and mastered this music release, produced by Lunatix Production. This song is the roadmap to having a fantastic time at Carnival 2025.

We all want to enjoy life and have a good time, but when it comes to carnival, this is modus operandi times ten! Our destiny during this festive season is to fête and enjoy life to its fullest. It is time to party hard (feting night after night) and attend all the excellent carnival activities that our culture has to offer. This song captures the essence of what carnival means for Trinidadians. It is drinking season (within reason, of course; remember not to drink and drive), partying, and making wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

Luntatix Productions delivered an infectious rhythm that the talented Ravi B simply reveled in, capturing his vibe and energy. For Ravi B fans, this could be their vibe, their carnival anthem for festival 2025. The team at Sokah2Soca and Island Vybe Philly Caribbean Radio approve of this song. So what are you waiting for? Turn up the volume and enjoy yourself, because it's time to live life to the fullest
