2. Our New Music Player: New Wave Soca 2027: Trinidad Carnival Hits & Fresh Releases
Oh my goodness… This music is ridiculously sweet. From the very first bar, you can hear the difference. Mikhail “Mega Mick” Corneal laid down a blueprint for what phenomenal soca production should sound like—clean, warm, powerful, and absolutely addictive.
And the team behind this wonderful song? First class.
- Nikholai Greene (N.M.G. Music) handled the mixing and turned the project into a sonic masterpiece.
- Kasey Phillips (Precision Productions) delivered a pristine mastering job—polished, balanced, and built for big speakers.
- Trini Baby and Voice added background vocals that wrap the track in richness and depth.
- Written by Voice and Mega Mick, this is craftsmanship at its finest.
Let’s be clear:
This song is the best overall production released for Carnival 2027.
Not necessarily the song of the season—that depends on the people, the fete, the road, and the moment. But in terms of pure production quality, this work is the gold standard. Pristine. Immaculate. The bar has been raised.
