Trinidad and Tobago, known as the Groove Soca Capital of the Soca World, also offers Power Soca. Today, we are thrilled to announce the release of a hit song for Power Soca fans. Lyrikal has just dropped an electrifying new track titled "Mash Pit," and it's sure to send you into a frenzy. Produced by Stratosphere Musiz with executive production by International Stephen, this song is a high-octane celebration of everything we love about Power Soca.

"Mash Pit" is all about the energy and excitement that come with Carnival, capturing the raw, unfiltered spirit of the festival. The title playfully nods to the term "Mosh Pit"—an area in front of the stage where fans dance and go wild. However, in true West Indian style, we have added our own unique twist to it. Just like how we create our unique words and terms to suit our vibes, "Mash Pit" perfectly encapsulates the chaotic joy and boundless energy of a Soca fete.

Every element of this production, from the pounding beats to Lyrikal's commanding vocals, aims to get you moving. It's a track that demands you turn up the volume, lose yourself in the rhythm, and join the revelry. This song is not just a listening experience; it's an invitation to let loose and embrace the euphoria of Carnival.

Power Soca is back, and "Mash Pit" is leading the charge. Be prepared to mash up the place, wave, and jump with Lyrikal's most recent hit. Turn it up loud and let the celebration begin!

Press play, and after you break out in a sweat dancing to "Mash Pit," jump back on social media and share your thoughts about the song with your peers. We would love to hear from you. Please use the comment feature on this post to let us know if this is a hit or a miss. We think it is a keeper.

Kaiso, Kaiso, and, oh yes, today is the time to reminisce with some really sweet Calypso music. Yes, people, we are shining a spotlight on Trinidad's rich and vibrant Calypso music. Join us in celebrating as we feature the incredible talents of Yung Bredda, DJ Hotty, and Jamie—three young guns bringing Calypso to life with their unique vibes and energetic performances.

Who said that Calypso is only for the older generation? These young individuals are poised to refute that misguided belief. The youth have a deep love for Calypso and are eager to contribute their energy to the genre that served as the foundation for the evolution of Soca music. The performance opened with one new vibe titled "Kettle Pot" by Yung Bredda on the newly released "Tilden Hall Riddim," produced by De Red Boyz, after which it is only ole-school Calypso music. So, get ready for "Calypso Wild Card Vol. 1," a musical journey that promises to get you in the groove before the bacchanal kicks off. This is a party where only the sweetest Calypso tunes reign supreme—no Soca, just pure Calypso magic.

Damn, favorite after favorite, vibe for so with the bards of yesteryear shining brightly. Tune in and vibe with fans from around the world as we experience the infectious rhythms and soulful melodies of Trinidad's Calypso music. Let the music move you, and let's celebrate this incredible art form together!

The Soca scene is buzzing with excitement as we welcome the release of the highly anticipated album, "Tilden Hall Riddim." This album is a true gem, featuring some of the biggest names in the Soca world: Anika Berry, Motto, Yung Bredda, Lyrikal, Voice, and the legendary Machel Montano. Produced by the talented De Red Boyz out of Barbados, this album brings a refreshing old school feeling combined with a new Soca vibe.

Tilden Hall Riddim" is more than just an album; it's a musical journey that takes you back to the roots of Soca while infusing it with contemporary energy. This release "is a tribute by today’s artists to a pivotal era of Soca music and the iconic venue that helped nurture it." Dive into the vibrant rhythms and nostalgic melodies that celebrate the legacy of Tilden Hall and its lasting impact on the Soca genre. Let the music carry you through time, honoring the past and embracing the future.

Each track showcases the unique style and talent of the featured artists, creating a diverse and dynamic listening experience. Machel and Voice will be the artists that most DJ's and radio hosts will pay attention to too, for sure, but here is a little secret: that song by Yung Bredda, "Kettle Pot", is a creeper. "Kettle Pot" will surprise many and rise to the top from this album... just saying!

Nadia Batson has just dropped a new track titled "Coffee," and it has everyone buzzing! Whether the song is about the beloved morning brew or her catchy nickname, one thing is for sure—Nadia knows how to "keep him up," just like a strong cup of coffee. Nadie, as she is fondly known, never disappoints, and this track is no exception. It's already at the head of the class, earning the number one spot in our hearts and playlists.

In "Coffee," Nadia brings her signature blend of vibrant energy and irresistible charm. The song's playful lyrics and infectious rhythm make it a must-listen for fans of Soca and anyone who enjoys a good time. The track's dual meaning adds an extra layer of fun, as it can be interpreted as a nod to her nickname or a tribute to the energizing effects of coffee itself.

From start to finish, "Coffee" delivers an unrelenting vibe that doesn't let up. Nadie's powerful vocals and infectious rhythm make this track an instant favorite. It's the perfect blend of passion and energy, capturing the essence of Soca music and the vibrant spirit of Trinidad and Tobago.
