If you are looking for a catchy and upbeat song to get you in the mood for Carnival 2024, look no further than “Energy Killers” by Kerwin Du Bois. It is from the album titled "Candy Dance Riddim," a groovy soca compilation produced by Chinese Laundry and Rishi Mahato. This is the future of Soca music, set at the tempo we call Groove Soca. This tempo and Kerwin's total control of the song are perfect for dancing with someone special. This is going to be one of the 'go-to' songs for carnival fetes in 2024.

“Energy Killers” is a song that celebrates positivity and rejects negativity. The lyrics, written by Kerwin himself, are on point and convey a message of empowerment and self-love. The song encourages listeners to avoid the “energy killers," who are people who try to bring others down with their complaints, criticisms, and bad vibes. The song also urges listeners to embrace their emotions, have fun, and live in the moment. The chorus is simple but catchy, repeating the phrase “I don’t need any energy killers.”.

The song is delivered with Kerwin’s signature smooth and soulful voice, which blends well with the groovy soca beat. The song also features background vocals by Kerwin and Natalie Yorke, who add some harmony and depth to the song. The song is mixed and mastered by Rishi Mahato at Maha Productions.

“Energy Killers” has a colorful and fun visualizer, which was produced by Asha Cori and released on YouTube (featured for this post). The visualizer features Kerwin and some kids from Bridge Church in Winter Haven, Florida, who dance and sing along to the song. The visualizer features Kerwin telling his story in song without dancers or other props but culminating with the kids at the end; it all worked well. The visualizer is an excellent portal to take you on your carnival journey, enjoy the song, and get inspired by its positive message.

“Energy Killers” is a song that can become an anthem for Carnival 2024, as it captures the spirit and energy of the festival. This song is a perfect example of how groove-soca music can make people feel good and have a great time. The song is available on all streaming platforms, and you can also watch the visualizer released on YouTube and featured on Sokah2Soca. If you are a fan of Groovy Soca and Kerwin Du Bois, you don’t want to miss this song. It will surely make you want to dance and avoid the energy killers in your life. This is my vibe for Carnival 2024!

"Freedom in we DNA," and because of this, we are making a bold prediction: DNA is going to be the monster hit for Carnival 2024 in Trinidad and Tobago, and because of that fact, we are predicting that it will win the Road March Competition. Hopefully, it will not suffer the same fate as did "Savannah Grass" by KES the Band.

The Road March is one of the most coveted titles in Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival, awarded to the song that is played the most at the judging points along the parade route. The competition is fierce, with many talented and popular artists vying for the honor of having their songs be the soundtrack of the nation’s biggest festival.

One of the songs that has been making waves this year is DNA by Mical Teja, a catchy and upbeat Soca track that celebrates the culture and spirit of Trinidad and Tobago. The song has been getting a lot of airplay and positive feedback from fans and critics alike and has been featured in several playlists and charts.

But what are the chances of DNA winning the Road March title in 2024? Let’s take a look at some of the factors that could influence its performance.

DNA is a song that appeals to a wide range of listeners, with its catchy melody, infectious rhythm, and uplifting lyrics. The song is about self-love, acceptance, and sharing good times with friends, and reflects the mood and vibe of Carnival. Mical Teja brings the song to life with his energetic and charismatic vocals and showcases his talent as a songwriter and producer.

The song also features live instruments, such as guitars, bass, brass, and drums, which add to its richness and authenticity. The song is a collaboration with Tano, a fellow producer and musician, who also co-wrote and co-produced the track.

DNA is a song that can easily fit into any Carnival playlist and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds. It is a song that captures the essence of Trinidad and Tobago and celebrates its diversity and unity.

Mical Teja is no stranger to the Soca scene, having been involved in the music industry for over a decade. He started his career as a singer and songwriter, working with some of the biggest names in soca, such as Machel Montano, Kes, and Bunji Garlin. He then ventured into production, creating his own label and studio, and producing hits for himself and other artists. Mical Teja has a loyal fan base, both locally and internationally, and has performed at various events and shows.

Mical Teja is an artist who is constantly evolving and innovating and is always looking for new ways to express his creativity and passion. He is an artist who is not afraid to take risks and experiment with different sounds and styles and is always striving to improve his craft and deliver quality music to his fans.

The Road March competition is always a tough one, with many strong contenders and surprises. Some of the factors that could affect the outcome are the popularity of the song, the performance of the artist, the support of the fans, the influence of the media, and the preferences of the judges. Yes, this is going to be a difficult one to win in 2024 with so many songs contending for the "People's Choice". We feel good about this song and believe that DNA can do it.

DNA by Mical Teja is a song that has a lot of potential to win the Road March title in 2024. It is a song that has all the elements of a successful soca track, and a song that resonates with the people and the culture of Trinidad and Tobago. It is a song that is being played by Steelbands, which is a traditional and integral part of the Carnival. It is a song that is very popular at carnival parties, which is a testament to its appeal and impact. And it is a song that is being supported by a talented and dedicated artist, who has proven his worth and skill in the soca industry.

However, DNA is not a guaranteed winner and faces a lot of competition from other songs and artists, who are equally deserving and capable of taking the crown. The Road March title is not an easy one to achieve and requires a lot of hard work, luck, and timing. The final decision will depend on the judges, who will have to weigh the merits and flaws of each song, and the fans, who will have to vote with their voices and their feet.

Whatever the outcome, DNA by Mical Teja is a song that will be remembered and enjoyed for years to come, and a song that will make its mark on the Soca scene. It is a song that represents the DNA of Trinidad and Tobago, and the DNA of soca music. Carnival.
