Work with me here for the moment. We simply cannot ignore the fact that it's Christmas, and the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago has its very own and unique music. The music of Parang, Parang Soca, and, more importantly, Soca Parang, marks this special time of the year. We simply cannot and should not devote all our time to posting new Soca music, although the video does feature some Soca in between the Parang Soca. We will continue to post the new music, but we owe the season the recognition it deserves. Today, we are showcasing an intriguing presentation from Caribbean Insight TV. Parang Soca is gaining popularity as the preferred Christmas music. Traditionalists will still have their share of music for competitions and traditional home serenades, but for the radio and all bacchanalists, Parang Soca is the music of the moment.
