Step into the pulsating heart of Trinidad's Carnival with the "Free To B Riddim": A Sonic Eruption for Carnival 2024. Experience the fusion of vibes as Preedy, Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons, Lyrikal, and Problem Child come together to create a harmonious Carnival symphony. This sonic masterpiece transcends mere music; it's an immersive journey inspired by the pulsating rhythms of J’ouvert, capturing the essence of revelry, freedom, and the euphoric spirit of celebration.
Strap yourselves in, soca enthusiasts, because "Free To B Riddim" is about to launch you into a pulsating, sweat-drenched journey you won't soon forget. This isn't just music; it's a sonic masterpiece that captures the very essence of J'ouvert revelry, freedom, and euphoric celebration. Produced by the visionary Smiddy Smith of StarBlu Entertainment and mixed & mastered by the wizards at Islands (The Audio Lab), "Free To B Riddim" is a fusion of vibes that transcends mere genre. It's a driving soca beat, a heartbeat for the streets, an ode to uninhibited expression.
And the artists? Buckle up again, because this lineup brings fire. Preedy, Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons Lyrikal, and Problem Child – each a titan in their own right – pour their souls onto this riddim, crafting anthems that resonate with the very spirit of Carnival 2024.
Preedy ignites the spark with his signature energy, urging you to "Beatin Road." Preedy looked like he drank a few cans of Red Bull before recording this song... loads of energy! Bunji Garlin, the veteran wordsmith, delivers a powerful message of unity and resilience with "Forward." Fay-Ann Lyons, Soca Queen for many, takes you on a journey of self-discovery with "Blame Yuhself." Lyrikal just decides to get to the point and "tear d ting down" because "Lyro" is a bad man! And Problem Child? Well, he drops the mic – no, he smashes it – with "Mash Up," a riotous call to break free and revel in the chaos.
This is more than just music; it's a movement. Each song on "Free To B Riddim" carries a relevant message for the upcoming Carnival. It's a call to embrace liberation, to shed inhibitions, and to dance in the face of adversity. It's a soundtrack for the disenfranchised, the overlooked, the dreamers who dare to be who they truly are.
Mark our words, this riddim will impact the Road March competition in Trinidad and Tobago. Its irresistible beat, coupled with the lyrical prowess of its artists, is a recipe for guaranteed crowd-pleasing madness. But beyond the competition, "Free To B Riddim" is a gift to the soca soul. It's a reminder to let loose, to celebrate life, and to find freedom in the pulsating rhythms of the streets.
So get ready to lose yourself in the energy. Embrace the "Free To B Riddim." This is Carnival 2024. This is your liberation. This is your moment. We wholeheartedly recommend this album. Don't just listen to it; live it.

"Dangerous" by Lyrikal is a Power Soca song that will make you want to jump and wave in Carnival 2024. The lyrics are all about having fun and enjoying the J'ouvert celebration with a pulsating bass vibe.
The song could be a contender for the Road March title, as it captures the spirit and energy of the carnival. The music was produced by Smiddy Smith of StarBlu Entertainment, who delivers a high-quality production that balances the driving bass and the clear vocals. The cleanup, mixing, and mastering were done by islands (The Audio Lab).
The music and vocals complement each other, creating a harmonious and catchy tune. The song is a Power Soca banger that gives you good vibes and makes you feel dangerous on the road. Lyrically, we believe Lyro could have been a bit more creative. Having said that, if you love fast-paced Soca, you will love this song. We give it a thumbs up, though a little weak lyrically, and recommend it for all road revelers!

If you are looking for a song to lift your spirits and make you feel light as a feather, look no further than Nadia Batson's latest Soca release, "Feather". This upbeat and catchy tune is perfect for the Carnivals in 2024, as it celebrates the joy of letting go of your worries and dancing your troubles away.
The lyrics of "Feather" were written by Nadia Batson herself, along with Don Iko, who also produced the track with XplicitMevon. The song is a testament to Nadia's versatility and talent as a singer, songwriter, and performer. She delivers the message of the song with her powerful and soulful voice, while Don Iko's production adds a fresh and modern twist to the traditional Soca sound.
"Feather" is a song that will make you want to jump, wave, and whine to the rhythm of the music. It is a song that will inspire you to embrace your freedom and happiness and to share it with others. It is a song that will make you feel like a feather. ?

"Wassy" by Full Blown is more than just a song; it's a musical journey that blends the soulful essence of Calypso with the vibrant, energetic spirit of Soca. Born in the sun-kissed paradise of Trinidad and Tobago, this vibe, which we aptly dubbed SoCalypso, dances to its own delightful rhythm, infused with the spirit of both traditions.
From the opening notes, it's clear this is no ordinary Caribbean offering. The music shimmers with a unique duality, balancing Calypso's relaxed, storytelling charm with the pulsating grooves and smooth vibe of a groove Soca beat. Idaey Asanga's saxophone weaves a sweet melody, painting warm strokes of soul onto the canvas of the rhythm section.
Full Blown's vocals are the anchor of this sonic voyage. Smooth and effortless, they glide over the music, paying homage to the rich heritage of Calypso and its undeniable power to bring people together. The lyrics are a love letter to the music itself, celebrating its ability to uplift, heal, and ignite joy. Credit Full Blown and the excellence of Winsford Devine for the lyrics. Every line is steeped in the cultural tapestry of the Caribbean, resonating with a deep understanding and respect for the tradition.
Production-wise, "Wassy" is a masterpiece of sonic fusion. Full Blown Entertainment, Tano, and Kyle Peters expertly blend the warmth of Calypso with a Groove Soca vibe, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly new. The final touch comes from Stephen 'StG' Abenga's mixing and mastering, ensuring every note shines perfectly.
