Like fine wine, Alison Hinds ages well! No, we are not talking about her numerical age; her voice is ageless! "Fine Wine" is a collaboration with "Black Man Chant" Productions. Alison Hinds is back and showing the young Soca puppies how to do Soca right.
Our goal today is to inform you if you are unaware. Alison Hinds, like Biggie Irie, was born in London, England. Alison moved to Barbados at age 10 and began her music career in the 1990s with Square One. She has been a force in the music industry since starting her solo career in 2004.
It feels like Alison is remaking herself and demanding the attention she deserves as the Queen of Soca. She has her work cut out with Patrice Roberts and Nailah Blackman ruling the Caribbean and North American Caribbean communities.
Her original song for Crop Over 2023 is fantastic. We believe that "Fine Wine" will continue to climb the charts and garner a major following and hits on YouTube if promoted properly. Alison is a polished performer, and with her energetic performances and this catchy song, she will rise to the top again.
We wish her well and success. However, because she is a talented singer and a powerful force for good in the Caribbean community, her road to success is "paved with Soca Gold Greatness"! She is a role model for young people, and her music inspires people all over the world. Enjoy some sweet Bashment Soca music!

Pan in the 21st century continues with more scintillating performances. Today, we present Supernova's Steel Orchestra playing "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. The arrangement was done by Amrit Samaroo, who is also the band leader.
It appears that Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic selections are the 'pick of the crop' for most of the bands in the preliminary round of competition. We have also included Bruno Mars' performance for those who don't know the song (where have you been lately?).
Supernovas Steel Orchestra is a steel band from Surrey Village, Lopinot, Trinidad and Tobago. It was founded in 2010 by members of the community, including Amrit Samaroo, son of pan legend Jit Samaroo. The band has quickly become one of the most successful steel bands in Trinidad and Tobago, winning the Small Band Category of the National Panorama in 2014.
Supernovas is a vibrant and dynamic steel band that is making a positive impact on the community and the world of music. The band is a testament to the power of music to bring people together and inspire creativity.

Wotless by Kes the Band was a big hit, so what happens if you behave more wotless than Kes? Well, first of all, you need to work on a vibe that brings out the spirit of an enjoyable carnival music jam. Is that a Calypso vibe, or is it something else? Soca or Jab Soca may work, but the true feel of a jam-down vibe is a bottle and spoon jam. For that, you should aim for a "CalypSoca" vibe! CalypSoca has the Soca feel of the drum kit, but everything else feels like an old school calypso vibe. Right, create it and call it the Sugar and Spice Riddim.
Today we feature a song entitled "Shades" from the "Sugar & Spice" album. Lavaman delivers something special for the album. He just may be more wotless than Kes! This song feels like Shades of 'Wotless', not in sound but in feel. If you want that Spice-Mas vibe, if you want to party like they do in Grenada, or if you just want to behave 'outrageously wotless' for Carnival 2023 on the Spice Isle, get to know the songs on the "Sugar & Spice" album.
