There is also a segment for American music because we live, work, and play here in North America.

Radio stations and most DJs will likely overlook this song. We are posting it here today to ensure that this one reaches a wider audience. "10 Outta 10" by Lil Jelo x Supayouth has a raw feel and will be better suited to a younger generation of Soca fans. We don't anticipate that fans of groove Soca or the mature Soca music listener will be captivated by this song.
Most people like what they hear but won't add it to their playlist. That's the impression I get after listening to it and reading the online comments. I believe, like one commenter on YouTube, @trinbagonian2642, said, "I'll take it, buh not in mih favs!" Did you get that? Sometimes, a song's popularity or artist's notoriety, or in this case, lack thereof, could determine its likes and dislikes.
Soca music is known for its unique vibe, and this song possesses just that! What about the lyrics? We give the lyrics a "B" because they tell a familiar story. We must also emphasize that Lil Jelo and Suipayouth bring excitement and energy to this music release. Radio play in Trinidad is unpredictable; it seems unlikely that this song will receive airplay. We are not attempting to predict the future; this is simply the nature of the music industry in Trinidad and Tobago. If these artists and this song succeed in Trinidad and Tobago, we will gladly acknowledge the forces that make Soca thrive in this region.
